Nicolas hails from La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina and has played tennis since he was 6 years old. As a junior, Nicolas was ranked in the top 20 in Argentina where he played against several top 20 ATP tennis players such as Guillermo Cañas, Mariano Puerta, and Mariano Zabaleta. Nicolas was also a very well known sparring partner for world famous Argentinean legend Guillermo Vilas.
Nicolas attended college at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata in Argentina, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. In May of 2000, Nicolas was awarded a full tennis scholarship from Palm Beach Atlantic University to pursue a Sport management degree, and soon after his arrival, he started teaching tennis at some of the most affluent locations in the country such as the Hamptons, Manhattan, NY and the island of Palm Beach, FL.
In 2004, Nicolas returned to Argentina to become the Director of Tennis at Campo Chico Country Club and the Director of Sports at Campo Grande Country Club where he was overseeing a tennis program with more than 350 adults and 150 children. Later in that year, Nicolas was named National Teacher by the AAT (Argentinian Tennis Association).
An interesting fact – Nicolas was the runner up of the Argentinean version of the TV show Survivor. Living for two months in the freezing mountains of Argentina, Nicolas confessed that was the most amazing experience of his lifetime.
